PRIVACY POLICY.

Sno-Power ("we", "us") makes commercial snow and ice equipment in Muskegon, Michigan. This policy explains what we collect through sno-power.com, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Details you send us. When you use a form on this site we receive what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, company, address or location, the product you are asking about, purchase timing, truck details, equipment serial number, and your message. Which fields appear depends on the kind of request.

Location, if you choose. On the dealer page you can search by city or postal code, or select "Use my location". We use that to show nearby dealers. Your browser asks your permission first. The search is carried out by Google Maps, and we do not store it.

Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and protect the site. To stop automated spam, our form service briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of the address a form was sent from, for no more than one day.

What we do not collect. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores one setting in your browser: whether you paused page animations.

How we use it

• To answer your question or request and provide pricing, fitment, support or warranty help.
• To connect you with a Sno-Power dealer near you.
• To evaluate dealer applications.
• To keep the site and our forms secure and free of spam.

We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent a request.

Who we share it with

• Authorized Sno-Power dealers. When your request is about buying, installing or servicing equipment, we may pass your contact details and request to an independent dealer serving your area so they can follow up with you.
• Service providers that run parts of this site for us and may only use your information to do so: Netlify (website hosting), Supabase (the secure database where requests are stored), Resend (email notices about requests), Cloudflare (spam protection on forms, where used), Google (maps on the dealer page and web fonts), and YouTube or Vimeo (video playback, only when you press play).
• When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, customers or the public.

We do not sell personal information.

Text messages

If you tick the box agreeing to texts, Sno-Power may text you about your request at the number you gave. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything. We do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Google Maps

The dealer page uses Google Maps features. Your use of them is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

How long we keep it

We keep requests for up to three years after our last contact with you, and then delete them, unless we need them longer for an order, a warranty or a legal reason. Our secure backups of requests are kept for 35 days, so a deleted request is removed from backups within that time.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent to texts, by contacting us below. We answer within 30 days. Residents of some U.S. states, and of Canada, have specific rights under local law, and we honor those requests.

Canada. We collect, use and share personal information from Canadian residents with consent, for the purposes described here. Your information is stored and processed in the United States.

Children

This site is for businesses and adult equipment owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We will post any changes here and update the date at the top.
